Duties
You will analyze statutory requirements against existing directives and policies to assess the degree of change necessary to comply with new requirements.
You will ensure policies, processes, and governances of information technology result in synergies between programs.
You will analyze feasibility studies, proposals, and in depth analyses of current requirements and forecasts trends for future needs, keeping abreast of changing and emerging technologies.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on the portfolio repository, applications cloud and database management, and support Marine Corps IT Strategic Planning.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and developing directives that implement high level policy changes that impact significant information technology programs or projects.
AND in addition to the specialized experience, demonstrate the four competencies as defined below:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: coordinating comments on revised directives and policies as part of the review process and incorporating comments or resolving issues into the final policy or guideline.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. providing technical advice to executive team members with comprehensive evaluations of policy status and progress, complete with substantive recommendations for optimizing operations.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: developing recommendations and proposals based on completed research which can be reported through decision course of actions analysis, and response sheets or briefs.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analyzing complex problems where the success of the program is dependent on the technology solution.
