About the Position: Serves as a Budget Analyst in the U.S. Military Observer Group (USMOG), performing a full level of program analysis of budgetary operations in support of the USMOG's mission.

Duties

Insure compliance with regulatory, procedural and policy guidance pertaining to the organization's budget. Prepare analysis of differences from prior budget year. Establish financial and budgetary goals against relative costs and benefits. Prepare Program Budget Execution Reviews for leadership. Identify trends and provide recommendations reprogramming. Apply innovative criteria to evaluate the progress and cost effectiveness of program plans and goals.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
  • This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
