You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS UNIVERSITY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organizations programs and administrative operations.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organizations programs and activities.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing, analyzing, or resolving problems with budgets; and reviewing or evaluating financial data for budget formulation.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing or evaluating financial data for budget formulation, cost estimates; and report financial obligations and expenditures.

GS-09:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree.

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
