Duties
This position is located under the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services (EPS), Office of Regulatory Affairs, in Washington, District of Columbia.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Regulations Writer, GS-0301-15, candidates MUST have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-14.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience includes:
Providing highly developed research and analyzing administrative procedures to recommend improvements in efficiency; and
Proposing, evaluating, analyzing, negotiating and/or justifying solutions to highly complex and sensitive issues and problems relating to and concerning regulatory programs; and
Drafting rule making and guidance documents; and
Communicating, both orally and in writing.
