Duties
Provide guidance administering the ROTC accession program
Monitor Information management system
Respond to inquiries from the public, major and regional commands regarding the accessions program
Analyze information from reports and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 10% of the time.
- One Year trial period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify for the GS-09: Applicants with current or prior permanent Federal service must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the second lower grade/level (GS-07). Specialized experience is defined as: work experience that involves preparing a documents using a variety of Civilian Human Resources (HR) automated systems, databases, spreadsheets and word processing software. Experience in applying HR statutory and regulatory requirements, objectives and policies governing Civilian HR management and program operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
To qualify for the GS-11: Applicants with current or prior permanent Federal service must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the second lower grade/level (GS-09). Specialized experience is defined as: work that includes the management of the organization's awards program, and training for personnel with special emphasis on position management, classification, recruitment and placement, performance management, training, pay, and incentive awards programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education
