You will serve as a SUPERVISORY TRAINING SPECIALIST in the TRAINING DIVISION of MCRD ERR PI SC.

Duties

You will responsible for program management and program analysis in Training Management. you will be responsible for oversight and management of permanent personnel training requirements, POIs, curriculum development, course training schedules, the MCRDPI/ERR MPP, and the MCRDPI/ERR utilization of the MCTIMS. You will manages the training and education programs and conducts analysis with the assistance of subordinate employees and subordinate, adjacent and higher headquarters. You will establishes procedure for applying Marine Corps policy in instructional design, development, and evaluation of full-length courses of instruction. You will analyzes and evaluates training and education as they relate to the command mission and identified requirements for change in policies, procedures, program processes, techniques, and systems. You will plan, coordinate, directing, evaluate and administer of all matters pertaining to Marine Corps policy and doctrine for training involving Drill Instructor School, Recruit Training, annual training of all MCRDPI/ERR Marines and Sailors. You will identifies, evaluates, and recommends training system enhancements as required to support the training process. You will be gathering train and education information from the six major subordinate Commands, identifies and analyzes issues and develops recommendations to resolve substantive problems/issues. You will oversee the management of programs of instruction (POI) conducted aboard MCRDPI.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is subject to Recall to Duty outside of normal work hours.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • You must be willing and able to accept a supervisory position.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the implementation and assessment of effective training and education programs AND providing oversite for an administrative information management system to enable web-based management of training records AND monitoring the execution of an annual training budget.
