You will serve as the Division Management Assistant in the Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Navigation, Networks, and Auxiliary Control Systems Division (Code 54), in the HM&E Controls, Navigation, Networks, and Cyber Engineering Department 50 of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWC PHILA DIV).

Duties

You will perform financial, budgetary and administrative support to evaluate the effectiveness, productivity and efficiency of the Division's programs and administrative operations/functions. You will monitor operations of program/projects to measure progress towards reaching objectives; identifying problems and impact of continuing operation. You will maintain, update, monitor, develop and evaluate technical information, contractual data, fiscal/budgetary data, appointments, and technical meetings; utilizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to initiate procurement activities. You will track Division productive funding level, Net Operating Report (NOR) Status and direct hour performance, and prepare associated monthly financial metric reports. You will support program data such as budget execution, office, training, directives, publications, and/or correspondence to verify compliance with regulations.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For NG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-03 pay band (GS-7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating clerical administrative duties in support of program management or budgetary analysis for an organization or program. For NG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-02 pay band (GS-5/6 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing clerical administrative duties in support of program management or budgetary analysis for an organization or program.
