About the Position: This position is under Supply Chain Intergration, Directorate, Demand Planning Division.

Duties

Develop, revise, appraise, and review directorate procedures involving Material Master Data elements. Develop and coordinate the establishment of new or revised procedures, methods, and practices of a complex nature within and between the various operating organizations after thorough analyses of effect on the various operating segments. Review comments submitted by various organizational segments and refines, alters, and clarifies when necessary, prior to submission to higher authority. Performs functional reviews of requests of end user requests, evaluates compatibility of requests utilizing the Material Master Cell processing guide and various regulatory guidance to ensure data integrity. Plan, develop, and implement new concepts and techniques for improvement of Material Master Cell functions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY)/Travel may be up to 24% of the time for the position.
  • Position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics Level One (1) certification withing 12 months of being paced in the position.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: preparing routine analytical status reports of trends or problems as indicated by supply data; investigating deviations with supply systems to determine and take corrective action; and utilizing various logistics programs to provide accurate supply information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
