About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Army Community Services Division and will provide installation/activity information, referral, advocacy, and follow-up assistance with responsibility for maintaining and providing comprehensive information regarding installation and civilian community resources and services to Soldiers and their families.

Duties

Establish and maintain a comprehensive and automated file of information on area public, private, and voluntary service organizations. Compile, organize, and consolidate organizational information such as name, address, telephone number, hours of service, services provided, eligibility requirements, and intake procedures. Serve as the point of contact for the community for information and referral services located on the installation and for private and government referral services; local, state, and federal agencies. Interview clients to assess the type of assistance required and provide information about community service systems, agency policies, and application procedures. Provide client referral and advocacy services. Perform administrative activities for the Community Service Council (CSC); updating and maintaining the CSC database, notifying members of upcoming meetings, maintaining sign-in rosters, coordinating various speakers/topics, and developing agenda.
