About the Position: Position will work in a cubicle inside the Civilian Human Resources office. The hours range from 0700 - 1630; Monday - Friday. Will work around other staff members and will need to assist customers that come into the office. This position is TERM NTE 1 Year, 1 Day, and may be made permanent without further competition. Temporary promotions will be allowed.
Duties
Assist with the medical recruitment for the hospital.
Answer general questions about the recruitment process.
Utilize automated personnel systems (Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), AutoNOA, Fully Automated System for Classification (FASCLASS), and other DA/DoD management applications to input actions, retrieve information, etc.
Extend tentative job offers to selectees.
Assist selectees in the pre-employment process, following up with conditions of employment.
Extend official job offers and set Enter on Duty (EOD) dates.
Requirements
- Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 10%.
- Irregular tour of duties may be required.
- This position is designated ?Mission Essential?. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position is designated Inclement Weather essential. The incumbent is required to make every attempt to report to work or remain at work as scheduled during inclement weather conditions to support mission operations.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising on human resources regulatory and legal requirements; utilizing HR automated systems/applications in performing daily tasks and preparing special or recurring reports; and/or verifying the accuracy of personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
