You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement/Classification) in the Staffing & Classification Division, Civilian Human Resource Directorate of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.
Duties
You will provide classification services to include resolving problems and interpreting Classification Standards and Guides across the organization.
You will perform position analysis, evaluative and technical work classifying positions and establishing and maintaining position classification plans.
You will perform technical work in recruitment, examination, selection, or placement and utilization of employees to staff government organizations.
You will plan, initiate and execute recruiting campaigns to locate and identify well qualified job applicants.
You will serve as a Specialist, Troubleshooter, and Consultant to management on all personnel staffing and classification matters to include resolving controversial or complex staffing cases.
You will advise and assist in analysis of staffing issues that may require research and innovative solutions to problems regarding personnel management needs.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising managers on recruitment or classification requests and resolving issues to ensure compliance with human resources regulations.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing advice to management on recruitment or classification requests to ensure compliance with human resources regulations.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11 level only:
- Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
- Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR
- Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; OR
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
