You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the MCB QUANTICO BACHELOR HOUSING BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will begin ensure guidelines are established and procedures are applied in processing applicants for permanent quarters.
You will monitor and ensure assignments to quarters comply with policies and procedures.
You will manage annual budget for supplies and equipment. You will submit weekly maintenance reports.
You will manage inspections of quarters and evaluate cleanliness, maintenance and habitability of furnishings and equipment.
You will initiate work requests for maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Managing functions associated with bachelor housing facilities and providing managerial guidance for daily operations; 2) Processing requests for permanent and temporary quarters; 3) Scheduling and coordinating the maintenance and repair of housing units and conducting follow-up inspections to verify that discrepancies are corrected. Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
Successfully completed one full year of graduate level education.
Or
Successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
Or
Combination of specialized experience and education that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the qualification requirements if the applicant can provide documentation indicating that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
