The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the point of contact to the squadron commander/director for administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program.
Duties
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
Serves as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/ organization.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the general experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Position.
This is a GG-06 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-06 duties for the "Clerical and Administrative Support" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-06 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.]
Experience Required: Your resume must reflect quality level experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of creditable experience include Knowledge of a range of concepts, principles and practices in the implementation of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information, including knowledge of current information systems, data bases, operating systems, and applications, and skill in applying this knowledge to work assignments; Comprehensive, practical knowledge of multi-disciplinary sensitive compartmented information policies and procedures in order to implement skills and applying knowledge Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
3. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment.
4. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
5. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
Conditions of Employment Continued:
Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
