This position is located in the District of Columbia Courts, Human Resources Division, Talent Acquisition Branch. The Human Resources Specialist (Workforce Planning) performs complex administrative and professional work in the development and execution of workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies that support the human resources strategic plan and accomplishment of aligned projects, goals and operational objectives.  

Duties

The  Human Resources Workforce Planning Specialist's duties include but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

  • A background and/or security investigation is required.
  • Probationary period of one (1) year.

Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in human resources and three (3) years of specialized experience in workforce and succession planning.     Documentation of education must be submitted with your application or your application will not be considered. Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts are required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.  

Education

To qualify based on education, upload copy of your college transcript or degree. The transcript must show the name of the college or university, your name, list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.

Foreign Education: Education completed outside the United States must have been evaluated by a private U.S. organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials, commonly called a credential evaluation service or education to meet the above requirements.
