This position is located within the Indian Health Service at the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, Lame Deer, MT, in the Transportation Office, under the Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) Department. The purpose of this position is to transport patients to other medical facilities for patient care.
This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19.
Duties
Daily transportation by GSA vehicle of patients to and from hospital, physician, dental or other healthcare related appointment.
Makes preventative maintenance inspections on all vehicles
Provide assistance to patients getting in and out of vehicle at appointments or lodging area.
Maintain interior of vehicles according to accepted practice for sanitary environment and ensure vehicle is kept clean
Complete all training mandated by service unit and agency as required.
