Duties

Determine, select, and organize appropriate data for use in executing performance measurements. Conducts special research projects by extracting, compiling, analyzing, and reporting data from financial and logistical systems. Provide comprehensive management accounting advice and recommendations to installation managers regarding problems found and future operational efficiency. Analyzes and monitors integrity and reasonableness of accounting transactions to identify abnormal balances, trends, and recurring errors. Performs professional accounting work related to financial processes associated with core Army accounting systems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
• Temporary duty travel of 5% may be required.
• Financial Management Level 2 Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
