You will serve as a AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE, BASE SUPPORT VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT PRODUCT LINE of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC. of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will develop, track, analyze, and report metrics to monitor program progress and propose recommendations regarding initiatives to improve performance. You will be responsible for the formulation of fleet strategies, establishment of programming priorities, resource allocation, and performance metrics. You will prepare and present briefings, findings, concepts, plans, proposals and recommendations. You will provide accurate and timely information regarding policy concerns associated with special programs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing oversight of all budgeting, acquisition, and coordination of operational issues within a transportation program; 2) Providing technical support and consultation on fleet management policies and programs; 3) Developing, monitoring, and assessing resources necessary to meet program objectives; 4) Applying strategic level guidance to develop tactical approaches for non-tactical vehicle and equipment initiatives and projects; and 5) Determining optimum fleet inventory and appropriate budget and acquisition strategy to meet requirements.
