About the Position: As an Administrative Support Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical office support to ENC staff and its management within one of the four branches within the Engineering & Construction Division (ENC); Construction Branch, Design Branch, Hydraulics and Hydrology Branch and Technical Resources Branch.
Duties
Serve as an Administrative Support Assistant for the Engineering and Construction Division Branch performing administrative, clerical, and other related duties.
Provide personnel management support to include tracking personnel requirements, processing personnel actions, assisting with recruitments, onboarding new hires, award preparation, review and preparation of performance evaluation forms, etc.
Responsible for procurement (e.g., government purchase card), travel orders and vouchers, timekeeping, training coordination, records management, mail management, forms control and other administrative office services.
Serve as the point of contact for property inventory support and processes.
Serve as point of contact for correspondence, meeting/presentation preparation and all other administrative tasks or assignment that may be assigned.
Serve as a mentor to other administrative staff members.

Minimum Qualifications for the GS-06:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1.) coordinating travel; 2.) preparing draft correspondence; 3.) entering time and attendance 4.) tracking property for accountability purposes; 5.) using office automation software to create a variety of documents, spreadsheets and/or reports, and 6.) purchasing office supplies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Minimum Qualifications for the GS-07:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) preparing correspondence in draft and final form; 2.) using office automation software to create correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets and/or reports; 3.) using personnel databases and systems such as AUTONOA, WebHR, HRSmart, WTTS, etc., to initiate and track personnel actions; and/or 4.) performing various administrative duties such as overseeing property accountability, purchasing office supplies, inputting time and attendance, tracking training requirements, coordinating travel and/or maintaining and managing office files and records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
