You will serve as a General Engineer in the Air Systems Group, System Safety and Air Systems Integration Dept, Systems Engineering and Integration DIV, Air Vehicle Systems Integration Branch AB12110 of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will provide timely and technically sound support to the Air Vehicle Technical Team Lead.
You will serve as a deputy Air Vehicle Engineering lead providing engineering leadership to the Air Vehicle engineering team.
You will identify, analyze, and mitigating risk in accordance with program risk management plan.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience inlcude: 1) Ability to plan and develop Air Vehicle system interface technical requirements. 2) Ability to develop and implement program plans, and the coordination of technical work efforts by NAVAIR commodity leads and contractors. 3) Ability to work within the IPT structure and coordinate closely with the assigned Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer and Program Office leadership.
