ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ***NOTE: Location of Position is: CAMP HM SMITH MCB, HI***The NGA Support Team to USINDOPACOM provides direct and reach-back GEOINT support to USINDO-Pacific Command and all subordinate Component Commands to meet operational, planning, exercise, crisis, and strategic requirements throughout the area of operation. The USINDOPACOM Partner Engagement Officer (PEO) position requires a extremely proactive, highly organized, self-motivated, detailed oriented, and service focused officer. Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Experience in building and leveraging collaborative and constructive networks from diverse agencies, customers, stakeholders, and teams.2. Demonstrated ability of setting and meeting organizational priorities while effectively utilizing resources to support organizational strategic goals and objectives.3. Demonstrated experience in using logic, analysis, and a systematic approach to gather data from multiple sources to inform decisions and successful outcomes relating to organizational mission and objectives.4. Demonstrated ability to comprehend and convey information to and from others in writing, from reading, listening, and using media to communicate and/or making presentations to the various organizations, stakeholders. 5. Ability to understand and communicate the NSG and ASG, including missions, programs, capabilities, and roles to the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, customers, and stakeholders.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Foreign Area Studies, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, History, Information Science, Information Technology, International Studies, Political Science, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in GEOINT, Intelligence Analysis, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in GEOINT, Intelligence Analysis, or a related area that successfully demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Ability to coach and guide IC/DOD/stakeholders to effectively engage with senior leadership and members of external organizations and manage engagement outcomes.2. Demonstrated ability to make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions, even with limited data to prevent unpleasant consequences that may negatively impact mission.3. Demonstrated ability to positively relate to all kinds of people, while building successful rapport and using diplomacy and tact to defuse high-tension situation appropriately.
