Duties

Assists management with general maintenance and cleaning of bowling facilities. Operates and makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling alley equipment and performs periodic preventative maintenance. Serves as cashier in the snack bar, receiving payment by cash or charge. Completes cash report at the end of assigned shift. Accepts food orders from patrons and serves alcoholic beverages. Prepares a limited variety of short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc. Prepares/slices lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables for sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. Assures that tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned. Cleans other work areas to include walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas. Removes perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities. Cleans and conditions bowling lanes and return racks. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory complete all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2., which may include a pre-employment physical examination.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Work a rotating shift that includes mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess: 1. Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. 2. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. 3. Skill in providing customer service. 4 Ability to communicate effectively. 5 Ability/willingness to work in both bowling and food/beverage operations This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements).
