About the Position: This position is M-F with occasional weekends and holidays to support the mission. Requires special safety precautions, such as working with risk of exposure to noise, heat, cold and some chemicals on a regular and recurring basis. Incumbent may be required to utilize a tent, shed or garage for shelter. Work may be done in outside environment. Exposure to infection and contagious disease is possible.

Duties
Received medical history from patient on occupational and/or environmental exposures and/or conditions.
Administers medication to include injections.
Conduct a variety of tests such as, hearing, pulmonary function testing, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy procedures, vision tests.
Administers medication to include injections.
Elevate emergency or urgent situations involving patients.
Coordinate training events by developing goals and objectives for the (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Yield Explosive Response) CBRNE Health Program.
Prepare risk assessment for in-service trainings.
Utilize automated system to prepare documents such as workload accountability, manpower accountability, Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS).
Requirements
- Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- This position requires that you obtain and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- This position may require the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states.
- This position has been designated Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- This position will require incumbent to obtain/maintain NIOSH Certification for PFT CAOHC for Audiology
- This position may require the wear of PPP to include an N95 mask.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing written and/or verbal instructions to patients; documenting in electronic medical record; elevating important patient information and/or results to the appropriate provider and/or staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
