About the position: This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation. The position will be filled as a flexible position with the possibility of regular employment after an acceptable 90 day evaluation. Schedule may vary between 0-40 hours per week based on mission requirements. Schedule may also include occasional evening and weekend hours based on squadron/program requirements. Candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds and occasionally more.

Duties

Performs and or/assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of outdoor recreational facilities and equipment to assure safe condition and cleanliness. Performs minor repairs and adjustments. Issues and collects recreational rental equipment. Collects, safeguards and deposits fees received from customers. Assists in conducting inventories, maintains records. As necessary demonstrates basic techniques used and ensures that safety rules are adhered to.
