This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Biometric Identity Management.
The primary purpose of this position is to Develop biometric data analysis methods including experimental design to understand causal processes for policy evaluation and provide recommendations that will enable leadership to take actionable steps to sustain and improve the utility and precision of OBIM's identity management solution.
Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.

As a TECHNICAL INTEGRATOR, GS-1501-13/14, your typical work assignments may include:

Ensure the integrity of the immigration system
Protect the privacy of our visitors

Requirements
- You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience GS-13:
You qualify for the GS-13 grade level (starting salary $112,015) if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as:
Identity capabilities and evolving technology development according to strategic direction and growth objectives.
Evaluates, and shares solutions for scientific, mathematical, and/or statistical problems, methods, conditions, and issues.
Identifies, develops, and realizes potential synergies and information-sharing opportunities among federal partnerships.
Identification technology improvements, and enhancements for the identification and verification of individuals.
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
Specialized Experience GS-14:
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level (starting salary $132,368) if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as:
Identity capabilities and evolving technology development according to strategic direction and growth objectives.
Evaluates, and shares solutions for scientific, mathematical, and/or statistical problems, methods, conditions, and issues.
Identifies, develops, and realizes potential synergies and information-sharing opportunities among federal partnerships.
Identification technology improvements, and enhancements for the identification and verification of individuals.
Identifies and mitigates deployment risks, including cultural and business process change implications.
Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
