About the Position: This position supports the mission of the J-8, Financial Operations Directorate and is located in San Antonio, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Duties

Serve as the Cybersecurity Specialist to protect all Facility Related Control System (FRCS) assets, systems, networks, data, and information. Coordinate with various stakeholders to meet the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other statutory and regulatory requirements associated with FRCS Systems for DHA Facilities Enterprise (FE). Conduct detailed analysis of security requirements for new systems or modification to existing systems. Conduct detailed Cyber Security assessments of systems ranging in size from stand-alone systems to Systems. Assign team tasks, interprets goals, provides direction, and performs technical review of completed work. Participate in technical working groups (TWGs) and meetings to resolve specific problems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
