This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - QUALITY. As a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist (Supervisory Quality Program Manager),you will develop and implement quality assurance practices to foster continuous improvement in engineering and production processes and procedures for currency and other security products manufactured by BEP.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-14 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes managing/leading quality assurance programs, principles and practices as well as developing quality assurance policies/procedures in a manufacturing environment, in order to maintain the quality and integrity of products. Examples could include but are not limited to: Managing the implementation of responsible programs across manufacturing facilities, production operations, and/or laboratories.; OR Researches and investigates new or improved quality programs practices/policies and prepares recommendations, OR Collaboration with designated Subject Matter Experts to align quality programs with customer requirements. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
