Duties

Formulates and implements marketing policy and procedure for MWR programs, as well as developing long and short-range marketing operation plans. Recommends priorities, develops plans and directs the execution of market research, analysis and assessment by evaluating effectiveness through attainment of goals and analysis of business trends and market share. Develops sales, promotional and merchandising strategies, brochures and pamphlets. Assists program managers in developing internal customer service training programs. Directs subordinate staff in assisting managers market, and promote their programs including advertising, event marketing, sales campaigns, sales promotions, radio and television production, graphic art design, and development of MWR publications.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. 2. Work experience must have been equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. 3. Work experience developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principles. OR 1. Completion of the requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in marketing, advertising or closely related field. 2. Specialized education developing market research programs, data analysis, business practices and economic principles. HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum of ONE (1) years of experience working in a Federal Civilian Marketing Branch, or Private Sector Organization. **Prior work experience OR education requirements MUST be reflected in the submitted documents at the time of application in order to be vetted for eligibility.
