Duties
Design, develop, & execute open innovation opportunities as part of the PSCR Innovation Accelerator Program & Open Innovation Team (OIT).Execute uniquely tailored prize competitions & challenges that meet the mission outcome using crowdsourcing, public outreach, social media marketing, & stakeholder engagement. Work closely with the Open Innovation Team & Public Safety Communications Research Divisions Research and Development Subject Matter Experts/staff in the development of programmatic plans & rules to ensure the opportunities are designed & implemented on time, within budget and meet all required Federal regulations/laws. Manage multiple part of the process, deadlines, review processes, ensure that administrative tasks are completed correctly, on schedule & within budget. Work as part of a team to drive innovation, achieve mission objectives & help solve technically challenging problems. Develop & present multi-media training or informational materials for diverse internal & external groups. Foster relationships within the prize & challenge community to cultivate collaboration efforts.

- This position requires a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must have one of the following:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
or
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-7 (or ZA-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience with crowdsourcing, multi-media training materials, or community engagement; with design or developing unique or tailored prize challenges; assisting in the prize challenge development and/or implementation and experience overseeing development and/or management of contracts established to support the establishment of prize competitions.
