Duties

Perform maintenance on different types of facilities and buildings using different types of hand and power tools such as table saw, miter saw, hand saw, drills, hammers, etc. Perform user and/or preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, facilities, and/or machinery. Clean equipment as needed. Police grounds, pick up debris and trash as assigned. Assist supervisor in transporting vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must possess and maintain a current/valid state drivers license.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry moderate objects up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.
• Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

There are no minimum qualifications for this position. Best Qualified Criteria: 1. Experience operating a large tractor with dump trailer. 2. Basic carpentry skills to include shop equipment such as circular saw, tape measure, and assorted tools. *Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first*
