Duties
Serves as the Deputy Director of the Medical Supply Chain, principle advisor, and assistant to the commander in directing the accomplishment of worldwide mission responsibilities.
Directs these responsibilities through integrated material management and control of assigned items to provide for integrated logistics support of medical equipment, facilities, and their components.
Oversees stock control, inventory management of assigned items, supply support of authorized activities, development and administration of materials and financial management programs.
Oversees quantity and reliability, cataloging, engineering support and contracting and production of assigned items.
Manages the Small Business Economic Utilization, EDI and other programs as warranted, and is responsible for the operational execution of Supplier Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Collaborates with the Director of the Medical Supply Chain, Director of Customer Operations, and Director of Supplier Operations in all elements of medical related Warfighter and Whole of Government support related meetings.
Coordinates and participates in the development of business unit segments of command operating programs and
justifications to support resource requirements.
Determines functional assignments and directs distribution of resources within the Directorate.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Supplier Operations Manager your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Exercise delegated authority to oversee the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of several program areas, or comparable staff functions.
Oversee the revision of long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the work directed.
Make major recommendations in the areas which have a direct and substantial effect on the organization and projects managed.
Ability to negotiate using considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain action or consent.
Establish and maintain a System of Internal Control.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
