You will serve as a SHIPS SYSTEMS INSPECTOR SUPERVISOR I in the QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT, NON-NUCLEAR INSPECTION DIVISION - Code 133 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will develop detailed plans-of-actions for the performance of all inspection functions of the work group including pre-use, in-process, final product and test component acceptance. You will assign and coordinate work and provide appropriate written instructions detailing the necessary functions for inspection and tests of material in process of fabrication, manufacture, repair, assembly and installation in critical systems. You will evaluate incoming work orders and plans, set schedules, assign inspectors, develop inspection methods and procedures, and review and evaluate inspectors assignments. You will plan work assignments on a short and long range workload. You will grant, schedule and control leave to suit work schedules. You will coordinate and participate fully in the development of an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action plan and efforts regarding staffing, motivation and training to develop all employees. You will make assignments to a mixture of inspectors performing inspection work of various trades (e.g. Electrical, Marine Machinery, Pipefitting, Shipfitting).
