About the Position: Incumbent works with and is part of the Primary Care Service Line leadership team which oversees 6 primary care clinics and Fort Liberty's deployment health missions. Hours are M-F, 8-5. Office is located in one of the clinics. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Perform budgeting oversight for all expenditures within the medical facility. Maintain the Department Table of Distribution and Allowance. Direct subordinates to ensure activities are in compliance with regulations and standards. Provide technical and procedural guidance for administrative support. Develop documentation necessary for manpower and force structure management. Monitor data quality to ensures that internal management controls are in place to meet established thresholds.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has been designated Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
• This position may on occasion work evening and weekend duty.
• This position may require the incumbent to complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with workload distribution among subordinate employees; providing administrative guidance to medical facility managers regarding policies/regulations; analyzing medical treatment facility (MTF) operational performance for trends or deviations in patient care; and assisting with the development of procedures and related trainings for medical facility staff to improve patient care. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
