You will serve as a PLANNER ESTIMATOR (GEN) in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Duties

You will prepare various kinds of contract performance work statements. You will perform planning and estimating assignments for equipment installation or maintenance. You will obtain proper clearances and approvals regarding safety, fire prevention, sanitation, etc. from proper officials. You will visit work site in order to gain information from field inspection and investigation for the scope requirements. You will determine labor and material costs for minor new construction, repairs, alterations, maintenance, and prototype work relating to research and technical development projects.

• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You may occasionally be required to travel from permanent duty station.
