Duties

You will serve as Program Manager for the end-to-end assessment of the NNDM. You will coordinate and lead efforts to assess the effectiveness of correction action, and provide status reports regarding changes to the readiness and projected readiness of NW and NW systems. You will act as the primary action officer for the Executive Secretary of the Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission Oversight Council (NNDMOC). You will develop, coordinate, and implement formal guidance related to assessing and reporting of personnel and material readiness for the NNDM to the Chief of Naval Operations. You will serve as NNDM Regulatory Lead's liaison between the the NNDM component organizations. You will coordinate input regarding issues that affect the NNDM in order to identify trends and potential impacts.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
• This is a Nuclear Deterrent Mission position.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading or coordinating the execution of a Navy Nuclear Deterrence Mission (NNDM) program. Examples of qualifying experience: leading planning efforts for an NNDM program development or execution, planning and conducting projects or studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve NNDM program operations, analyzing performance data to facilitate senior leadership decision making, and advising on the managerial operations of an NNDM program.
