About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army Medical Command Headquarters, located at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. MEDCOM HQ's is located in beautiful and historic San Antonio and is within easy commuting distance of desirable neighborhoods and excellent school systems. San Antonio offers mild winters, low cost of living, and no personal state income tax.
Duties
Administers the Support Agreements Program to implement DOD and governing intra/interservice support agreements to include diverse programs and components of Regional Medical Commands and various DOD Executive Agencies.
Serve as a advisor for general matters related to training agreements, and some interagency agreements.
Review, interpret, and communicate DOD and Army policies and regulations governing support agreements.
Consults with and assists lead analyst as required. Primary guidance includes reimbursable policy, DOD Instruction 4000.19, DOD Financial Management Regulation, and Federal Acquisition Regulation.
Reviews cost estimates and gathers performance feedback associated with established agreements; and with the lead analyst performs cyclic review of support agreement programs to ensure currency and compliance with regulation and policy.
Reviews differences regarding support services to be received or supplied.
Requirements

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Incumbent of this position must possess the Financial Managment Level 2 Certification or obtain it within 2years of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
