You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Recrutement/Classification) in the Personnel, Manpower and Training (PM&T)/Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP) Human Resources Office, N1B1 of PERS WASHINGTON.
Duties
You will advise managers on recruitment/staffing and position classification.
You will conduct basic and/or refresher training and classification policies and procedures.
You will provide interpretation of United States Navy Community College (NCC) polices regarding recruitment, position classification and position management.
You will analyze and evaluate current staffing situations including turnover, vacancies, and current recruitment strategies to identify and forecast staffing challenges.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge in the practices, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents associated with Federal staffing, recruitment, classification, and pay setting in providing technical and consultative services to management; 2) Presenting staffing, classification or related training; 3) Resolving problems, answering questions and providing guidance on complex staffing and position classification problems utilizing human resource tools and systems.
