About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, and work products and services.
Monitors and reports on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality have been met.
Resolves simple, informal complaints of employees and refers others, such as formal grievances and appeals, to the supervisor or an appropriate management official.
Leads the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provide leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made (e.g., in work methods, processes and procedures).
Provides advice and guidance to the Center’s directorates, Program Executive Offices (PEOs), and Program Managers (PMs) relative to findings and evaluations, and recommends corrective actions where appropriate.
Gathers and analyzes data for inclusion in quarterly Command review and analysis ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Center and Command objectives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics
Advanced certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as 1) Gathering and analyzing logistics support data for accuracy and recommendations for improvement; 2) Analyzing and developing integrated logistics support and procurement documentation; and 3) Performing supply, maintenance, and logistics support for weapon system readiness. 4) Performing and managing Army Packaging and/or Transportation processes and functions.
