About the Position: Performs duties as the Resource Manager for the Mission Training Complex. Supervises the development and management of Information Assurance and Supply management.

Duties

Reads and interprets policies, regulations and command directives; implements changes, establishes standard operating procedures and provides technical guidance. Coordinates and controls the distribution and scheduling of facilities and assets to using units on a priority of need basis and to ensure maximum usage. Plans overall work operations, sets priorities and establishes schedules of work completion. Makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate team leads. Performs duties as the Resource Manager for the MTC. MTC resources include scheduling, funds, personnel management, supply accountability, communications and facilities management.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • This position will often require work on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes directing a comprehensive facility management program; Managing daily maintenance, repair, and replacement of all AC/Heat, Plumbing, Electrical, Air Filtration, facility infrastructure, as well as Furniture, Fixture, & Equipment (FF&E), service requests and work orders; supervising of seasonal maintenance: grass cutting, weed removal, tree trimming, curb and parking area sweeping and daily custodial services performed in the building; developing physical security operations; managing organization safety programs. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementDecision MakingPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
