About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Pine Bluff Arkansas. This position serves as Chief, Property Accountability Division, with authority and responsibility for providing support to Pine Bluff Arsenal, on all real property, property book and tool room accountability operations.

Duties

Maintains positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including internal and external customers, Joint Munition Command, Army Materiel Command, and counterparts. Provides expertise for government property to ensure accountability is accomplished by all users including government and contractor personnel. Reviews proposals within assigned areas of property management to make appropriate recommendations for approval or disapproval. Advises subordinate personnel of personal property and equipment management programs.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Occasional TDY Travel, up to 5% of the time may be required.
  • This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450.

Interpreting and applying property administration policies relevant to real property, general equipment, and tools in an industrial environment. 2. working with diverse and complex industrial/business operations and managing a multi-stakeholder environment. 3. providing guidance to personnel on technical, legal, or procedural changes related to property accounting, management, and reporting, providing technical advice on the most appropriate method or procedure for evaluation and analysis and 4. recommending and implementing policies governing approval of property control records and systems, and its surveillance; analyzing alternatives to identify potential solutions to problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
