You will serve as a Videographer within the U.S NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will manage all of the incoming video production requests and verify their completion.
You will manage a production schedule to ensure the video production shoot can be accomplished in a timely manner.
You will operate cameras, video cameras, and editing equipment in a higher education setting.
You will offer clients suggestions on the most economical use of audiovisual communication to meet the needs of the project.
You will create, edit, and produce professional quality videos using specialized software for various purposes such as Center displays, website, and social media viewing.
You will plan and facilitate studio and field-based video production work, including the planning, filming, editing, sound mixing, graphic design and compression output and distribution of a wide range of products.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Operating cameras, video cameras, and editing equipment in an academic environment; filming and updating a B-roll footage library;
Operating video editing equipment, both linear and nonlinear systems;
Offering higher education clients suggestions on the most economical use of audiovisual communication to meet the needs of the project.
