About the Position: The position is located within the DIR of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics Exceptional Family Member Program at Kenner Army Health Clinic out of Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia.

Duties

Conduct an administrative review of the Exceptional Family Member Program forms for accuracy. Conduct preliminary review of family members to determine eligibility for enrollment. Conduct preliminary review of family members to determine eligibility for enrollment. Coordinate resources for active-duty family members with physical, developmental, emotional or mental disorders requiring specialized services. Assist family members in completing documents to prepare for approval. Provide responses to questions in relations to medical or educational needs of a family member.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Tier 1: This position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
  • Childcare Background Check: This position has specific initial background investigation and periodic re-verification requirements
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
  • Hepatitis B: Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • Tuberculosis (TB): This position requires the incumbent to have Tuberculosis testing.
