This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will perform general maintenance and repairs of camp ranges. You will monitor assigned ranges and unit personnel for compliance with all safety and operating requirements. You will report on all training unit and range facility safety violations. You will recommend assigned range upgrades to meet new training strategies. You will provide input for improvement, modification, and/or construction of range training facilities.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Meets Occupational Health requirements, i.e. enter the lead, respirator and hearing conservation programs and conducts annual physicals as assigned.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Is sometimes required to work odd hours, including nights and weekends. Employee will be called back to work in emergency situations.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting daily maintenance operations and maintain ranges, facilities, and associated equipment while adhering to maintenance policies and procedures.
