About the Position: This position is under Naval Health Clinic located at the Pearl Harbor side of Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, which is on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Advance in Hire may be authorized. This is available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A cost of living allowance has been authorized for Hawaii at the rate of 8.64% (subject to change).

Duties

Assign work based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and capabilities of employees. Instruct employees on both work and administrative matters. Identify training needs of employees and provides or arranges for necessary development/training. Identify records lacking required dictation and initiates action to have dictation accomplished. Handle controversial issues in regards to release of patient record data.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
