About the position: This position will be assigned to the Cannon AFB Landing Zone Club. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks to support a bar or beer serving activity.

Duties

Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: Ability to visually recognize shortages of supplies at the bar such as beverages, beer, condiments, garnishes, glasses, napkins, and utensils, and to replace them as needed. Skill required to use knives and automatic slicers in preparation of garnishes such as oranges, limes, and lemons. Responsibility: Receive specific instructions concerning completion of their assignments and they make simple decisions such as the type and amount of bar supplies needed from the storage room. On assignments of an unusual nature, the supervisor frequently checks their work, whereas repetitive assignments are completed with minimal supervision. Physical Effort: Requires frequent light to moderate lifting and carrying objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to and over 40 pounds. Heavier objects such as beer kegs are usually transported with the aid of a dolly.
