You will serve as a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the G4 LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will serve as G-4 Records Manager, Publication Control, Printing Officer, Forms Management and Management Information Control Officer. You will ensure electronic and manual records are properly identified, maintained and retired. You will serve as the G-4 administrator/coordinator for all programs requiring records support. You will analyze all incoming tasks and correspondence ensuring that they are routed to the proper section and assign work to appropriate sections based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the technical/functional capabilities. You will review and evaluate all outgoing correspondence ensuring proper formatting and routing. You will be responsible for tracking all correspondence in the staffing process by providing technical oversight and training in record/correspondence maintenance/staffing. You will provide training to all personnel who are responsible for creating, accumulating or maintaining records, including training for senior officials, files personnel, and records management coordinators.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to strategize and assist with management of records and information program projects, developing and coordinating a records management training program, maintaining procedures for the maintenance of records and ensuring compliance with relative regulations and directives. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
