The incumbent is a working leader assigned the responsibility for building and utility maintenance work.
This position is not eligible for telework.

Duties
The major duties of the Maintenance Worker Leader position include but are not limited to the following:
Provide direction to coworkers and serve as liaison between upper management and coworkers and ensure management objectives are achieved.
Maintain access for visitor use areas by maintaining roads and grounds through vegetation management and snow removal
Provide custodial service to public restrooms and visitor areas
Lead projects that involve park partners and volunteers
Motor vehicle operator
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT)
Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic).
Use of measuring instruments.
Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.
Ability to use andmaintaintools and equipment.
Knowledge of materials.
