You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will perform studies and analyze data related to financial, contracting and inventory management practices, procedures and ADP systems used to retrieve, repair, stock and issue NAVSUP WSS managed material.
You will provide courses of actions in expertise area, in order to delimit further errors.
You will perform detailed analysis using a variety of techniques such as mathematical functions, and keeps data stored centrally.
You will apply sound judgment in determining the proper review for overall data content and identify potential/existing problems.
You will utilize various programs/processes to assist in the development, testing, and evaluation.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
GS-09:
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
1) Expert level ability with IT systems and files, to include all database concepts and applications, including ORACLE and Navy ERP;
2) Knowledge of the organization, regulations, policies and procedures of the Navy Supply System and agencies relative to logistics support; 3) Knowledge of the responsibilities and relationships between the commands and allowance process stakeholder organizations;
4) Knowledge of Navy financial procedures as they apply to OPN8 Outfitting for SCN and OPN material in order to properly apply automated and IT related applications.
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
1) Detailed knowledge of data access methods, limitations and the development of alternate approaches to support data development and collection;
2) Skill in applying complex fact-finding, analytical and problem solving methods, techniques to identify interrelated program problems, draw conclusions and recommend appropriate action or solutions to improve program efficiency and effectiveness;
3) Skilled in written and oral communication sufficient to prepare and present findings and recommendations, carry out specific actions regarding complex issues, and/or sell or implement new ideas and concepts
