About the Position: This position oversees and implements the District's Strategic Workforce Development Program. Advises organizational leaders and key managers on the implementation of MVM workforce development program matters. Acts as a liaison between the district leaders and Civilian Human Resources Service Center (CHRSC) to assist management in the effective implementation of workforce development programs and initiatives.

Duties

Conduct a workforce development program evaluation strategy. Provide district support, coordination, and execution of the district's training program. Administer the Total Employee Development System for Memphis District employees for planning and tracking employee training. Oversee and implement the District's Strategic Workforce Development Program, Awards and Evaluation Program and General District Tasking's. Assist managers, supervisors and employees in how to utilize the MyPerformance Tool .

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • GPC (Government Purchase Card) training and certification must be successfully completed within 90 days of employment and maintained.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
