About the Position: About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off of Interstate 20. The depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Performs a variety of technical duties in estimating work assigned. Estimates work for maintenance, repair, modification, and installation of machinery and manufacturing equipment. Serve as Contractor Officer's Representative and technical advisor on assigned projects. Conduct site visits to verify work is being done in accordance with technical requirements or scope of work and designs/sketches. Perform equipment inspection, plans, and estimates for the installation.

OR Combination of Education & Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
