You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Material Readiness Department, Warehouse Operations East of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center, Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) located in Indian Head, Maryland.
Duties
You will establish procedures and controls to ensure responsive, efficient and cost-effective transportation of assets/goods.
You will provide advice, assistance and direction concerning transportation matters to the command, tenant activities as well as contractors, carriers and regulatory bodies.
You will apply technical knowledge of freight transportation rules and regulations as they apply to the command's mission.
You will develop standard operating procedures and process guides for customers and internal staff and seasoned knowledge of Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) processes.
You will conduct safety inspections of vehicles operated within facilities Analysis operating practices, procedures and equipment of vehicles used to delivery and MHE vehicle and Equipment.
You will review operating records and reports to assess the quality of all vehicles and adequacy of preventive maintenance being performed on all fleet/GSA vehicles.
You will assist the Warehouse Lead with Operating Materials and Supplies program management, performing warehouse and administrative functions to facilitate logistics support.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting warehouse management operations (e.g., inventory, administrative functions, methods, status requests, reports) to ensure accountability of an organization's assets. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include performing a full range of professional vehicle services coordinator assignments in a full-functioning capacity; carrying out assignments that have significant impact on services or programs; engaging a wide range of individuals and audiences, formally and informally, on matters of a functional, technical, and administrative nature in both structured and unstructured situations; managing tasks in the utilization of scheduling, presentation, and office technology such as Microsoft Office; demonstrated experience in NAVSEA Operating Materials and Supplies processes, Navy warehouse processes, operational planning and scheduling, requirements analysis; project/tasking status reporting, presentations; developing standard operating procedures and process guides for customers and internal staff and seasoned knowledge of Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) processes.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree;
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., in a field directly related to the position being filled.
